Bamboo People

IN THE JUNGLE OF MODERN-DAY BURMA, two boys are on opposing sides of a war. Chiko has been forced into the Burmese army by trickery. Tu Reh wants to avenge the Burmese soldiers who burned the homes in his Karenni village. An unlikely friendship forces each boy to confront what it means to be a man of his people.
