Bad things just seem to follow Samantha Leiffer around. So she knows as soon as she witnesses a strange man dumping an ice-chest in the half-frozen Hudson that something's definitely up. Still, finding out the chest contains a dead body is pretty freaky.
Now a witness in a murder case, the only thing Samantha doesn't object to is being protected by the (very hot) hardline homicide detective John Krull, and it's not long before she finds herself being sucked into the investigation. Soon Sam finds herself looking for some dark, very scary figures in New York City who as it happens, might just be looking for her too...
