"Baby-sit six kids? The whole weekend?" Deedee gasped
"Oh, little ones aren't that hard to deal with," China replied calmly. "How bad could it be?"
Yet, never in China Tate's wildest dreams-or nightmares-could she imagine the difficulty of baby-sitting six of the most unruly children known to man. And who would have guessed, that just after they agree to do this favor, China and her best friend, same weekend! Deedee, get invited to go water-skiing on a houseboat-the same weekend!
Although they'd much rather relax in the sun with their friends, the girls decide to keep their word, banking on the hope that God will bless their socks off for doing the right thing.
But, within only a few hours, China and Deedee begin to feel like lion-tamers when the twin boys torment the younger kids, the toddlers pour cereal on their heads, and the 7-year-old decides to play stylist with Deedee's hair... and uses real scissors!
Soon, the girls realize God's ways are not theirs, and that He doesn't always hand out blessings for obedience.
