Mein Kampf is one of the most notable works in history written in two volumes by Adolf Hitler in 1924. Hitler was arrested when he took out a mass demonstration in favour of national unity for the formation of a socialist German state, when he began writing Mein Kampf. which translates into 'My Struggle' in the German language. He was tried by the People's Court in Munich and subsequently imprisoned when he wrote the first volume. The second volume was written after he was released.

Born in a small town in Austria, a young Adolf grew up with the desire to become a painter. But the death of his parents and rejection from art schools in Vienna forced him into a life of hard labour. During World War I, Hitler served in the infantry and was decorated for his bravery. After the war, Hitler's involvement with socialist political groups increased as he steadily rose to power, eventually establishing himself as Chairman of the National Socialist German Workers' Party.

Reading Mein Kampf is like listening to Hitler talk at length about his youth, early days in the Nazi Party, his ideas on politics, race and his ideology and goals for the future German state. This book not only gives a deep insight into one of the greatest evil geniuses of the last century but also lays bare his struggle to consolidate Germany into one great nation, and a Nazi Third Reich.
