Afterlife

Tears, numbness and Saturday night pot-luck dinners - these make up the traumatic afterlife for a trio of grieving Southern Californian AIDS widowers. Emotionally damaged survivors, they support and comfort one another in a plague-ridden West Hollywood world of palm trees, Zen salads and homophobic televangelists. But now, one year after the shattering personal tragedies that brought them together, they are drifting apart down three widely divergent paths - towards hedonistic denial. towards shocking urban terrorism ... and towards the precarious, uncertain love that hurts as it heals.
